Hi Fishmadman
Just a quick note. Poor returns of salmon this year to most rivers, but here is the only fish for 5 days fishing by my wife and I on Gaspé rivers. You guessed it: Monster Caddis!
No hesitation from this fish, which had ignored a dozen swung flies wet before I covered it with the dry. A nice 15 lbs. or so, released, of course.
